We arrived in Pakistan in 1952 and quickly rose to become one of the leaders in the life insurance industry. As a result of nationalization in 1972 MetLife Alico and 40 other companies were merged to create a state-owned insurance corporation.
In 1995, when entry of private sector life insurance companies was allowed, MetLife Alico became the first multinational insurance company to be granted life insurance license. Since then we have been providing a comprehensive range of life, health and accident insurance products. We have grown by understanding the needs of the community – and helping people build a secure financial future.
